Is yelling at a football player on TV and demanding that he do something, considered like asking of the absent or the dead, which is polytheism (shirk)?

Leave the whisperings and pay them no mind, for the shouts of encouragement have no connection to disbelief (kufr), polytheism (shirk), or asking from an absent one. Rather, it is a wish for the player's action. Dwelling on these thoughts corrupts both one's religion and worldly life.
