Is a wife permitted to add her husband's surname to her name?

It is not permissible for a wife to attribute herself to her husband's family, due to the severe warning established regarding claiming lineage from other than one's father, and that whoever attributes himself to other than his father incurs the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. Moreover, doing so involves imitating the disbelievers and the woman's denial of her own family.
