Is it legislated to say "Praise be to Allah" and "peace be upon His Messenger, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him" in the supplication after the Tashahhud?

Praise be to Allah and commendation upon Him, and prayers upon the Prophet, peace be upon him, before supplicating, are among the manners and recommended acts of supplication and a means for its acceptance. The prayer (salat) includes praise and commendation of Allah and prayers upon the Prophet, peace be upon him, in the final tashahhud. Therefore, the supplicant, after finishing his tashahhud, does not need to offer any additional glorification or praise before his supplication beyond what he has already done in his tashahhud. Rather, he should proceed with sending prayers upon the Prophet, peace be upon him, and then choose the supplication he finds most appealing.
