To what extent is it permissible for spouses to express affection through hugging, kissing, or holding hands in front of their children?

If embracing and kissing are specific to spouses, then it is not permissible to do so in front of children, based on the verses that command seeking permission to enter parents' rooms at specific times. Moreover, doing so contradicts good conduct and there is a fear of educational harms, such as children imitating it without awareness, or disclosing what they have seen. As for displaying the usual affection, mercy, and care between spouses, it is permissible and has a positive effect on the children's psychological comfort, provided that it is to the extent that achieves the purpose without being forbidden.
