Is it obligatory to make up for the fast after inserting a finger to induce vomiting due to abdominal pain during fasting, then feeling relief and completing the fast?

Inserting a finger and inducing vomiting are among the things that invalidate fasting according to scholars. Whoever does so has invalidated their fast and must make it up.

The fatwa cited the hadith of Abu Hurairah, elevated (to the Prophet), "Whoever intentionally vomits must make it up," narrated by Abu Dawud and graded hasan by Al-Tirmidhi. It also mentioned the hadith: "Whoever is overcome by vomit while fasting does not have to make it up, but whoever intentionally vomits must make it up."
