Would a deceased mother be angry in her grave with her son who did not complete his studies due to psychological pressures, and is he sinful for disappointing her and his father's hopes?

Among the acts of righteousness is to fulfill what your parents desired of you. It is narrated from Abu Usayd that a man asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Is there anything left for me to do to show righteousness to my parents after their death?" He replied: "Praying for them, seeking forgiveness for them, fulfilling their covenants, honoring their friends, and maintaining ties of kinship which you have no kin except through them." Fulfilling their covenants means carrying out their will. It is not necessary for the deceased to know the state of the living, and there is no evidence that the mother becomes angry in her grave.
