Is it permissible for a married woman to give her Zakat to her father to cover his treatment expenses and help him with life's burdens?

It is not permissible to give zakat to one's parents. Rather, you must help them from your own private wealth, because giving them zakat would enrich them from your expenditure and relieve you of it, thus the benefit would return to you, as if you had paid it to yourself.
