Is "Do not detest the tribulation at the End of Times, for it destroys the hypocrites" a noble Prophetic Hadith?

The aforementioned statement, "Do not despise fitna (tribulation/discord) at the end of time, for it exposes the hypocrites," is not authentically attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It was narrated by Al-Daylami and Abu Nu'aym from Ali, but its chain of transmission contains weak narrators and unknown individuals, as noted by Al-'Ajlouni and Ibn Hajar. Furthermore, this statement contradicts what is authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Seek refuge with Allah from tribulations, both the apparent and the hidden."
