The answer

If you sold the screens before you owned them, the sale is void because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade selling what one does not own. An exception to this is the salam (advance payment) contract, provided its conditions are met. You must repent and return the money to the merchant, and you should demand your money from your friend in Canada; it is a debt owed to you until you can collect it. To overcome unemployment, rely on Allah, increase your seeking of forgiveness and supplication, and exert efforts while being cautious.
