Is it permissible to raise poultry in the mosque's garden?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Raising poultry in the mosque's courtyard is not permissible if it harms the worshippers or disturbs them, or hinders some of the mosque's functions, or brings impurities or defilements, whether it belongs to the mosque or not, and whether it brings benefit to it or not. However, if there is no harm or hindrance in it, then if it belongs to the mosque, there is no objection to raising it. The same applies if it does not belong to it but brings an income that helps provide for its necessities. If it does not bring any benefit to the mosque, it is not permissible to raise it, because that deviates the endowment from its intended purpose.
