Must a recent Muslim convert give his father everything he owns if his father asks him to do so?

A Muslim who has recently embraced Islam is not obliged to give his father more than what he needs for his own expenses, based on the saying: "You and your wealth belong to your father." This applies to maintenance. As for anything beyond maintenance, he is not obliged to give it.
