What is the ruling on absenteeism from work and shirking duties for a committed person who calls to prayer, but is constantly absent from his work and evades his responsibilities?

The worker must fulfill the contract he committed to and perform his work according to the agreed-upon conditions, for Allah Almighty says: (O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts) and for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Muslims are bound by their conditions." Therefore, absence from work without the permission of the responsible authority is not permissible in Islamic law, because it is a breach of contract. The worker must be present at his workplace at the designated time and perform his work throughout the agreed-upon working hours, because this time is the right of the employer in exchange for the salary. Violating Islamic rulings is not permissible, and it is more reprehensible for one who is committed to the religion. So, he must fear Allah and perform his work fully, and not be absent except with permission or for an urgent necessity.
