ما حكم زرع شجرة الكيف التي يستخرج منها المخدر؟

It is forbidden to cultivate drug plants such as opium and hashish, due to the generality of the Almighty’s saying: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, and do not cooperate in sin and aggression), and because of the Prophet’s saying, peace and blessings be upon him: “Whoever calls to misguidance will bear its burden and the burden of those who act upon it until the Day of Resurrection,” and due to the harms they contain, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “There shall be no harm or reciprocating harm.” Cultivating them for medical uses is an exception to this.
