Is it permissible to play against the computer in online games where an initial free amount is given for betting, and in case of winning, additional money is obtained, with the possibility of withdrawing the winnings later?

The basic principle concerning games is permissibility unless they involve something forbidden. However, it is not permissible to conduct competitions for money except in archery, horse racing, camel racing, and what is similar to them, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "There is no prize money except in arrows, hooves, or camels." Scholars have appended to this all that aids in physical and moral jihad, such as competitions for memorizing the Qur'an and Sunnah, and competitions involving airplanes and ships. If the money is paid by both competitors, it is forbidden gambling. If it is from one party or a third person, it is also forbidden unless it falls under what has been explicitly exempted by Islamic law. Based on this, it is not permissible to play this game for money, even if you do not pay anything; because conducting games for financial compensation is forbidden, except for what has been explicitly exempted by Islamic law or appended to it.
