What are the best ways for a new Muslim to publicly declare their Islam, given their desire to shed the burden of hiding the truth and to propagate the faith, taking into account their family's attempts to dissuade them from Islam and the possibility of facing increased pressure in their native environment?

We congratulate the new Muslim and advise him to be diligent in acquiring beneficial knowledge, performing righteous deeds, associating with the virtuous, enduring harm patiently, and emulating the prophets and the righteous. He is not obliged to declare his conversion; that depends on what is in his best interest, and he should consult trustworthy individuals. If he fears persecution (fitna), he must emigrate. Calling to Allah is among the best acts of drawing closer to Him, and it requires knowledge, faith, and reliance on Allah.
