Am I obligated to repay my father's debt that he spent from the trust that was in his possession without my knowledge or consent?

If a father spends money that was entrusted to him and disposes of it without the owner's permission, he is sinful and liable for the amount, and he must return it, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The hand is responsible for what it takes until it returns it." However, if the owner permitted him to dispose of it, then he is not sinful, but he is still liable and must repay it. The children are not obligated to repay this debt, even if the father spent it for their benefit, because he was acting as a volunteer. However, it is recommended for children to repay their father's debt if they are able, as it is an act of filial piety and kindness.
