When is Zakat imposed on orphans who have reached 21 years of age and are still being supported by their mother?

One who has reached puberty is not called an orphan, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no orphanhood after reaching puberty." Zakat is obligatory on the orphan's money if it reaches the nisab and a full year has passed over it. This is the view of the majority of scholars.
