Is it permissible to describe a human being as "more astray than a beast"? And how do we differentiate between what is permissible and what is impermissible in terms of reviling?

Originally, it is impermissible to describe a Muslim as "more astray than his camel" because it is a form of insult and vulgar speech. A true believer is not one who slanders, curses, is obscene, or foul-mouthed. However, exceptions are made when there is a need or when a greater benefit outweighs the prohibition. Exposing a flaw to reveal the truth and guide people to righteousness is not forbidden, similar to the permissibility of backbiting in certain situations. The Sunnah (definition) contains evidence supporting this exception, such as the hadith (definition): "Permit him to enter, for he is the worst brother of his tribe." If a Muslim is not certain that a particular person falls under this exception, they must adhere to the original principle and guard their tongue, because discerning such a matter requires knowledge of the Sharia (definition) and reality, as well as piety and a rigorous pursuit of truth.
