Is it permissible to place images of animate beings in digital games designed for adults, knowing that they are not static images?

It is forbidden to draw and photograph animate beings due to the severe warning mentioned, such as the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, the most severely punished people on the Day of Resurrection will be the image-makers." Exceptions are made for pictures of children, digital images unless printed, and images from which a part essential for life has been removed. Digital images are not subject to the prohibition. As for printed images, if they are taken with a camera or existing images are used without modification, there is no harm, provided the game is free from other prohibited elements.
