Is the husband sinful if he temporarily stops spending on his family to complete building his house? Are there specific supplications for facilitating marriage and sustenance?

A wife has the right to an independent dwelling. A husband is permitted not to financially support his parents if they are self-sufficient. There is no specific supplication (dua) for facilitating marriage, but supplication in general is beneficial, provided its etiquettes are observed. Among the causes of blessing in sustenance are abundant seeking of forgiveness (istighfar), supplication, and maintaining kinship ties. Salatul Hajah (the prayer of need) is legislated for facilitating permissible matters.
