Is it permissible to pray for the termination of a pregnancy in its early weeks, given that I cannot cope with it due to my weak physique and the deterioration of my health after my last pregnancy?

Aborting a fetus before the ensoulment of the spirit is a matter of disagreement among scholars. The fatwa issued (the prevailing juristic opinion) is an absolute prohibition, unless it leads to significant harm, in which case it is permissible to adopt the view of those who permit it. It is preferable to be patient and not proceed with an abortion, and to praise Allah for the blessing of children. One should not supplicate to be rid of the pregnancy; rather, one should ask Allah for ease in the matter, strength of body, and the ability to raise children well.
