How do I deal with the questions that come to me about the Divine Self, such as: "Does Allah have mass?" and "Can Allah be referred to as a thing?"?

Satan is an enemy who whispers doubts about God's essence. A Muslim must repel these whispers by seeking refuge in God. If Satan reaches him by saying, "Who created your Lord?" then he should seek refuge in God and stop there. Among the ways to repel whispers is to say, "I believe in God." If a Muslim finds anything in himself (from these whispers), he should say: "He is the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden, and He is, of all things, Knowing." The word "thing" (shay') is not among God's names, but it is permissible to describe Him with it. As for the word "mass" (kutlah), it has not been mentioned in the texts.
