What is the religious ruling on a wife ceasing to bear children due to her husband's stinginess, given that they already have three children?

The primary purpose of marriage is procreation, as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Marry the affectionate, fertile woman, for I will boast of your multitude before the nations." Allah has guaranteed the sustenance of all His creatures, so it is not permissible to prevent procreation due to stinginess or financial reasons. Preventing childbirth is only permissible if pregnancy threatens the mother's life, and preventing conception is the only way to avert the danger.
