Purchasing real or fake followers is impermissible due to the deception and fraud involved, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who pretends to have been given what he has not been given is like one who wears two garments of falsehood." And his saying: "Whoever deceives us is not of us." Increasing followers in this manner involves deception and fraud, and the fake followers must be removed from the account.
