What is the ruling on dyeing hair black or any other color, and does it prevent one from entering Paradise, and is it considered a change to Allah's creation?

Scholars have differed on the ruling regarding dyeing hair black, and the preponderant opinion is that it is forbidden. As for whether it prevents entry into Paradise, a hadith has been reported: "Towards the end of time, there will be a people who dye their hair black like the crops of birds; they will not smell the fragrance of Paradise." However, some scholars have deemed this hadith weak, while others have interpreted its meaning by stating that the severe warning is not merely for dyeing hair black, but for another sin that will occur at the end of time. This is because a number of Companions dyed their hair black, and no one condemned them. Alternatively, the dyeing black mentioned in the hadith refers to dyeing for the purpose of deception and trickery. Therefore, merely dyeing hair black does not prevent entry into Paradise; rather, it is an indication of the characteristics of disobedient people at the end of time. Moreover, dyeing of all kinds does not constitute changing the creation of Allah.
