Is the first heaven the one surrounding the Earth and raised without pillars?

All the heavens encompass the Earth, and it is spherical. The Footstool (Kursi) is above all the celestial spheres, and the Throne (Arsh) is above the Footstool. The celestial spheres are circular according to the Qur'an, Sunnah, and consensus (Ijma'). The texts indicate that the heavens were raised without pillars.
