Is it permissible to take 200 Egyptian Pounds from one's father to buy winter clothes after it had been allocated for a university course that did not take place?

If your father fulfills his duty of providing for maintenance and clothing, it is not permissible for you to take from his wealth except with his permission; otherwise, you must return the money to him. However, if he does not fulfill his duty, it is permissible for you to take from his wealth in a reasonable manner, to the extent that suffices you and your child, based on the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying to Hind bint Utbah: "Take what suffices you and your child in a reasonable manner."
