Is one who leaves the word “Allah” or Quranic verses on cans or newspapers discarded in impure places, without cleaning them due to the unavailability of water and necessary means outside the home, sinful?

We thank the questioner for his feeling of transgression and his respect for the rituals of Allah. The spread of papers containing revered material has become a widespread affliction, and it is difficult to guard against it. A Muslim should remove what he is able to, and what is difficult for him is excused, according to the words of Allah Almighty: "And He has not placed upon you in religion any difficulty" and "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity."
