What is the ruling on the Scout Promise which states the effort to perform duty towards "Allah, the homeland, and the King," to help people, and to live by the Scout Law?

Swearing by other than Allah is forbidden, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) sayings: "Whoever takes an oath, let him swear by Allah or remain silent," and "Whoever swears by other than Allah has committed shirk (polytheism)." Likewise, it is not permissible to equate Allah with others in taking an oath of allegiance. Rather, the oath of allegiance should be to Allah alone. Then, one serves their homeland and acts in a way that does not contravene Allah's Shari'ah. A person's actions must be in accordance with the Shari'ah of Allah Almighty, and it is not permissible for him to pledge to act according to a law that contradicts it.
