What is the ruling on telling a female friend about a website for downloading e-books after learning that some scholars have permitted reading them?

If the intent is electronic books published without the permission of the copyright holders, then the fatwa states that intellectual property rights are protected and it is not permissible to infringe upon them. Therefore, reading these books is not allowed. However, some scholars permit it for those who are in need. Based on this, there appears to be no religious impediment to pointing to websites that publish these books.
