Does impurity transfer to the foot or footwear if it is wet and one walks on dry impure tiles or carpet? And does impurity transfer if the foot is heavily wet and one walks on a carpet that has dry madhiy (pre-seminal fluid) or dry dog feces that has been removed without sufficient washing? And is it permissible to pray directly on this carpet or must a pure prayer rug be placed on it?

- You erred when you prayed while restraining your urges, and you should have purified the impurity from the prayer rug immediately.

- The ground and anything connected to it become pure through dryness, according to the Hanafis and Ibn Taymiyyah.

- There is a difference of opinion regarding the transfer of impurity from a dry prayer rug to wet objects; one may act upon the view that does not consider it to transfer for those afflicted with obsessive doubts.

- Impurity is removed by whatever removes it, and water is not exclusively required for its removal.

- The default status of anything you doubt has become impure is purity. As for what you are certain has become impure, it is not permissible to pray on it without purifying it or placing something pure over it.

- The impurity of the ground does not necessitate the impurity of everything that touches it, such as a foot or shoes.

- One must beware of obsessive doubts and avoid giving in to them.
