It is permissible for someone who is armed with religious knowledge and intends to refute the people of deviation and invite them [to the truth]. However, for someone who has not acquired sufficient religious knowledge, it is not permissible for him to enter, for fear that the sophistries of the people of deviation might deceive him. Instead, he should strive to learn the religious law, act upon it, learn the methods of da'wah, associate with experienced people, and study books of creed.
