Do the gold ornaments that the husband bought for his deceased wife go to the only daughter, who is 23 years old, knowing that the mother always said they were for the daughter after her death, or does the husband have a share in them, and do the wife's siblings have a share in this gold?

What the deceased leaves behind is divided among their heirs after settling debts and executing bequests. A bequest to an heir is not enforceable unless the other heirs agree, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "(There is) no bequest for an heir unless the heirs wish it." Similarly, a bequest exceeding one-third of the estate is not enforceable unless the heirs agree. Therefore, the mother's bequest of gold to her daughter is not enforceable except with the consent of the heirs. If they do not consent, the gold is divided among the heirs according to the legal shares.
