Treatment by those who seek the help of jinn is impermissible, as seeking their help leads to many corruptions, and it is difficult to judge them as being Muslim, disbeliever, or righteous. It has not been authentically reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his Companions, or the Tabi'in sought their help. We advise against anything that might be related to sorcery. There is no objection to reciting the Quran over honey and drinking it.
