What is the reason for coloring the letters Waw and Ra with red in the word "Kafaru" from verse 25 of Surat Al-An'am, in the Tajweed Mus'haf published by Dar Al-Ma'rifah in Damascus, according to the narration of Imam Qalun from Nafi' Al-Madani, knowing that the Mus'haf is set to Qasr Al-Munfasil and that this word is the only one colored in this manner?

Coloring the waw in the detached madd (madd munfasil) of the aforementioned word in the mentioned Mushaf has no basis, and it is more likely a printing error. This is because Mushafs printed with the narration of Qalun from Nafi' adhere to shortening the detached madd for Qalun, which is the preferred performance and the one adopted by North Africans. Although both narrations from Qalun are sound, placing the madd sign above the waw and coloring it with the color of the obligatory madd is considered a printing error. It should be noted that there are other errors in the mentioned Mushaf, such as placing the omitted alif in the word "أصلواتك" (aṣlawātika) above the waw instead of placing it after the waw and placing a fatḥah on the waw to indicate the plural, which is an error for the narration of Qalun.
