Is it permissible to perform the prayer without a loudspeaker, on the pretext that the worshippers should hasten to the mosque after the Adhan?

The use of loudspeakers in the mosque for the Adhan (call to prayer), Iqamah (call to commence prayer), and prayer is permissible, and may even be legally required to achieve religious objectives, such as raising the voice with the Adhan to remind people and encourage them to pray and listen to the Qur’an. Their use should not be abandoned on the pretext that worshippers should arrive early. However, the Iqamah should be softer than the Adhan because it is for those present, while the Adhan is for those absent.
