Divorce occurs if the husband utters the words of divorce willingly, even if he is joking. If a reliable fatwa committee has issued a ruling to you that two divorces have occurred, then there is no harm in you following their ruling. As for depositing money, it is recommended to deposit it in an Islamic bank whose transactions comply with Sharia.
