Is it permissible to say, "O blessing of Bismillah"?

The Basmala (utterance of "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim" - In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful) is a great remembrance [of Allah], and it is recommended to say it before every significant matter, based on what has been narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

The phrase "Ya Barakat Ism Allah" (O Blessing of the Name of Allah) has a detailed explanation: 1. Permissible: If its intent is to express wonder at the blessing of the Basmala, or to invoke that blessing from Allah, and not to supplicate the attribute itself. This is similar to saying "Ya Rahmat Allah" (O Mercy of Allah), meaning to seek help from Allah through His mercy, and not to supplicate mercy itself. 2. Forbidden and potentially Shirk (polytheism): If its intent is to supplicate and ask from "the blessing of Allah's Name," meaning to supplicate the attribute itself. This is because an attribute does not act on its own, and supplicating that which does not act is considered disbelief by the consensus of Muslims, as that would make the attribute an independent deity alongside Allah.
