Is it permissible to eat the meat of cows smuggled through bribery?

There is no objection to buying and eating beef, even if smuggling is widespread, for the following reasons: Firstly, the default is permissibility in consuming meat sold in Muslim markets without questioning, based on the Hadith (definition) of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "Mention Allah's Name over it and eat it." Secondly, the transgression falls upon the smuggler, not the buyer, for one does not bear the burden of another's sin. Thirdly, ritually slaughtered beef is permissible by the consensus of jurists, and smuggling does not render the meat unlawful. Fourthly, hardship brings ease, and prohibiting the purchase of such meats would cause difficulty and hardship for people.
