Is it permissible to consider emigration to improve one's income, save money for the future, and help one's parents, or is it obligatory to be content with one's current financial situation?

Traveling in search of livelihood is permissible and is one of its means. There is no harm in traveling to non-Islamic countries for livelihood or other interests, provided that the Shariah regulations are observed. However, it is preferable to seek a way to travel to Muslim countries for the sake of safety; for in lands of disbelief, there are temptations and provocations of desires that may expose a person to trials and tribulations. Taking the path of well-being is more beneficial, while seeking Allah's help, supplicating to Him, and asking Him for ease.
