Is it permissible in Islamic Sharia to bury a body without the brain, or must one wait until the police investigation is complete and the body is delivered in its entirety?

The burial of the deceased must be expedited, even without the brain, in accordance with the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying, "Hasten with the funeral..." and his saying, "When I command you to do something, do of it what you are able." The brain must be followed up to be buried later next to the deceased or in any other location after the investigation is concluded.
