What is the ruling on taking a percentage or commission in exchange for bringing work or a client to a company?

There is no harm in taking a known amount from the expert in exchange for the effort and mediation to secure his work with the company. There is also no objection to a subsequent agreement to take a known percentage of the value of each work brought to him, as this falls under permissible brokerage, subject to certain conditions.
