If the heirs of the deceased are aware of this debt, then inform them of the absolution so that they can distribute the inheritance without accounting for the debt. If they are not aware of the debt, there is no need to inform them. The deceased's responsibility is absolved by your forgiveness of him, whether the heirs know about it or not.
