What is the ruling concerning this contract in which the female pharmacist pays the capital and obtains the license in exchange for a known monthly salary, and is it permissible for the female pharmacist to work if she is veiled and only her face and hands are visible?

Firstly: Your agreement with a female pharmacist to open a pharmacy, where you provide the capital and she provides the certificate for obtaining the license in exchange for a known salary for her, is permissible, provided that the person in charge of the work is specialized, and the salary is in return for benefiting from the license. It is cautioned against entrusting work to non-specialists due to the harm that may result from it.

Secondly: The work of women with men in one place often leads to corruption and prohibitions, even if she is veiled, because it leads to a lack of formality and leniency, and private seclusion (khalwa) may occur. Therefore, Islamic law prohibited mixing (ikhtilat) to prevent harm. We advise against employing a woman in a place where she mixes with men.
