Is it permissible for a woman to adorn herself with a high-crowned hat?

If a woman adorns herself with clothing among women and her Mahrams, it is stipulated that it should not involve imitation of men or disbelieving women. However, if she wears such clothing and goes out with it in front of strange men, then it is forbidden adornment (tabarruj), as Allah Almighty says: "And do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance." Thus, everything that leads to a woman's display (tabarruj), her appearance, and her distinction through adornment in front of strange men is forbidden.
