Is it permissible for a Muslim to supplicate: "O Allah, make me honorable in this world and the Hereafter," based on Allah's saying in Aal Imran: {When the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - honorable in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near,"} or is this status exclusive to prophets?

There is no objection to supplicating with "wajihan" (of high standing/dignified), for its meaning in the Holy Qur'an is honorable, of status and قدر (قدر can mean destiny, power, or value). There is no prevention for a Muslim to ask his Lord for "wajaha" in the sense of having status and honor with Allah in this world and the Hereafter, though supplication with the narrated prayers is preferable.
