Is it permissible for a girl who lost her virginity by toying with her body in her youth to ask her mother to search for a groom for her?

There should be no anxiety regarding a delayed marriage; rather, one should continue to strive and employ permissible means, while seeking Allah's help and asking Him for a righteous spouse. Supplicate with what has been authentically reported in the Sunnah, and seek assistance from trustworthy relatives and female friends. It is permissible for a woman to seek a husband, and there is no harm in informing the female matchmaker to search. It is not obligatory to inform the suitor about the loss of virginity unless he stipulates it. If he asks, then it is obligatory to inform him that the cause was not fornication, and that there are multiple causes for the loss of virginity. One must work on everything that helps maintain chastity by avoiding lust-provoking stimuli and being diligent in employing their suppressants, such as fasting. Delay in marriage has its wisdom and may be a trial.
