What is the ruling on working for an American telecommunications company that has a branch in Egypt, knowing that the work involves the entire Arab region, including Iraq, to establish a public mobile network for the Iraqi people owned by an Egyptian telecommunications company?

It is permissible to work for this company under two conditions: First, the work must not involve anything Islamically prohibited, such as broadcasting forbidden content, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Second, the work must not expose oneself to destruction, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And do not throw yourselves with your own hands into destruction."
