What is the ruling on the discharge that comes after the menstrual period, and how is it purified for prayer? And is ghusl (ritual bath) obligatory upon experiencing a wet dream and seeing this discharge? And is a wet dream defined as seeing the full act of intercourse in a dream?

The religion of Allah is ease, so do not make things difficult for yourself with whispers (waswas), as the difference between discharges has been clarified for you: Semen (maniyy) is the viscous fluid that exits with gushing and propulsion during arousal, and it necessitates ghusl (ritual bath). In women, it often tends to be yellowish. As for other discharges, they do not necessitate ghusl; rather, they only necessitate wudu (ablution).

Nocturnal emission (ihtilam) is when a sleeping person sees something that arouses desire. If one wakes up and sees semen, ghusl becomes obligatory, even if one does not remember what was seen. The criterion is the presence of semen, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Yes, if she sees water."

If you doubt whether it is semen, madhiy (pre-seminal fluid), or wadiy (thick white discharge after urination), ghusl is not obligatory; rather, just wash away the trace. It is recommended to contact scholars directly to alleviate these whispers.
