Is the fact that men, including a girl's father and brothers, do not see her face after she gets married considered a deviation from the Sunnah of the Prophet?

This custom contradicts the Sunnah and the consensus of the Ummah, as it is permissible for a man to see the face and hair of his daughter, as well as his brother and son, because they are mahrams. Verse 31 of Surah An-Nur affirms the permissibility of displaying adornment to mahrams. Al-Tabari interpreted this verse to mean that hidden adornments should only be shown to husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, nephews (sons of brothers), sisters, and Muslim women. Al-Qurtubi mentioned that the degrees of displaying adornment to mahrams vary according to people's natures, and that a father and brother seeing a woman is safer than her husband's son seeing her. This behavior is considered an imposition on women and isolates them from their fathers and brothers, and the best guidance is the guidance of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
